You know you're a geek when another computer BSODs or Kernel panics and you can infer the cause by the register dumps.

lmao, I completely agree.

the other day, me and another techie friend were trying to get OSX on a pc, and it had a kernel panic and I was able to find out that it was not enabling PAE correctly. =)

My brother's Mac kernel panic'd and we discovered that it was trying to access the unpaged address 0x00000000.

You know you are a geek when your girlfriend is a robot and your avatar is the Transformer emblem. I myself do both, so I win! :)

My girlfriend's not a geek but she's made straight A's a few times. I'm proud of her (I like to brag :)).
My OS is Perception.

You know you're a geek when you (as I have done) spend money on these and think they are the most awesome toy ever!

Hi,

... when you count sheeps in octal when going to bed
... when you count until 1023 with your fingers only because you know how to do it

I think the thing with start counting from 0 is the most significant characteristic. It is really a problem for me, because my result when counting is always 1 less then others. Or for example I think the 'Z' is letter 25 in the alphabet, because 'A' has index 0.
