OSDev logos
Re: OSDev logos
Why not try to tell all what we are doing, or at least try to do:
***REMOVED, due to ...... ****
* just a sugestion
The vista logo is only for the grapich.. .. , not as a os

well, what to say, to much to do in too little space.
when it goes up hill, increase work, when it goes straight, test yourself but when going down, slow down.

Re: OSDev logos
That was uncalled for kmtdk.
It's also legally questionable, did you receive permission to use those corporate logos?

Re: OSDev logos
the first is not a logo used by a company, but i dont think microsoft would hate it, we just make some advertising for them, but "apple" might not like it.. or maby ...
it was just a ideere.

Re: OSDev logos
As said, using someone else's logo in your own is disputable, if not illegal. I'll let it for another moderator to decide whether to actually remove it, but expect it to be disqualified.
Re: OSDev logos
I found it very hard to take the concept of operating system development and convert it into something visual, but it comes a little close, ha. I never remember using gears when writing a kernel, but they look so cool.
It looks a little blocky, because I saved it as a jpg instead of a png.

I like kmcguire's logo
The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd.
The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places
no one has ever been before.
